Quality Improvement

The Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA, 2010) ensures hospitals strengthen their accountability to deliver high quality health care through an annual Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Quality Improvement is a systematic approach to making changes that lead to better patient outcomes, enhanced experience for patients and providers, and reduced costs.

Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance is on a continuous journey of Quality Improvement in order to provide the highest quality care for our patients and their families.

The Quality Improvement Plan is our guide to achieving outcomes in priority initiatives as outlined through Strategic Priorities, Accreditation Canada Standards, Service Accountability Agreements, Staff and Patient participation and the needs of our community.
