LWHA - Commitment to Providing Quality Patient care
Hospitals have a legal and moral obligation to ensure that we provide safe, high quality care for the patients and communities we serve. As part of theExcellent Care of All Act, each hospital in Ontario is required to develop an annual Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).The QIP is a tool that the hospital uses to define specific areas for improvement and it also serves as one element of public reporting regarding patient safety and quality indicators.
LWHA Quality Improvement Plan
